A Letter From the Founders

growing up, the biggest holiday of the year in our families was the lunar new year. all of our favorite dishes were prepared in a frenzy of laughter, shouting, and careful attention to detail. we would eat to our hearts’ content the nostalgic foods of our past and look forward to the inevitable gifts of bright red envelopes. these red and gold packets filled with cold, hard cash were a symbol of our family’s wish that we have a prosperous and Fortuitous new year. it is our desire to bring the joys of our childhood to our community and to share our heritage with the world through this month-long February pop-up that combines both new and old traditions in a celebration of culture and togetherness.
